Several UK National Healthcare System (NHS) hospitals use PreSize® in their clinical practice. We have a long-standing relationship interacting with clinicians and hospitals from PreSize’s early development stages to develop and design a software tailored to the clinical needs, which reduces the stress of the procedures and aims to improve clinical outcomes.

Hospitals

Oxford Heartbeat has an active Patient Advisory Board (PAB) consisting of patients and patient advocates. PAB involvement helps us understand what the patient undergoing surgery needs and wants to see from a new technology to feel safe and cared for.

Patients

Several stakeholders are paramount in ensuring the success of the clinical procedures, including the manufacturers of the devices used in the procedures and of the medical imaging scanners. Interacting with such players in our specialist field has been important to develop a high-quality software that could contribute to consistent and standardised clinical practice.
